Artifact #3
My First Website Project
My First Website
This artifact showcases the first website I built entirely from scratch, completed in Spring of 2024 as a part of IT-11005. I created the site using only HTML, CSS, and a little bit of JavaScript, allowing me to understand the fundamentals of structuring content, designing responsive layouts, and implementing interactive elements without relying on frameworks or templates. Building this webpage taught me the core principles of web design, teaching me skills I will likely use in the future. The project also helped build my problem solving skills through debugging layout issues, optimizing styling, and ensuring cross-platform consistency.
Skills Utilized and Learned
Building this webpage from scratch allowed me to apply and strengthen a wide range of technical and professional skills. i gained practical experience with core web technologies, (HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc). Throughout the project I learned how to write clean, organized code and how to troubleshoot issues relate d to formatting, responsiveness, and mobile web design. I was able to hone my problem solving skills, attention to detail, and confidence in working on a web project from start to finish.
